Maths Specialist Needed - County Durham
We’re looking for a dedicated Maths Specialist to join a fantastic alternative provision in County Durham, supporting Year 10 and Year 11 students working towards GCSE resits. This role is ideal for someone with a robust, resilient nature and a genuine passion for re‑engaging students who have become disengaged with education.
Schedule
* Days: Monday to Thursday
* Hours
o Mon: 9:00‑4:00
o Tue: 9:00‑2:30
o Wed: 9:00‑1:15
o Thu: 9:00‑4:00
* Total: 22 hours 45 minutes per week
Location & Timing
Start date: As soon as compliance is cleared.
Location: Town in County Durham.
Expected duration: Until June.
Responsibilities
* Support Year 10 and Year 11 students working towards GCSE resits.
* Build confidence and re‑engage learners who have become disengaged with education.
