Location: Chester Mail Centre, Jupiter Drive, Chester, CH1 4PA (involving travel between various sites)
Salary: £15,199 - £22,591 (depending on age)
Hours/Shifts: 37.5 hours per week – shifts will be aligned to a mentor when starting
Duration: 3 - 4 years
Qualification: Installation and Maintenance Electrician – Level 3

What You'll Do
As an Installation & Maintenance Electrical Apprentice, you will help keep buildings safe and powered.
* Install electrical systems
* Fix and maintain equipment
* Test electrical systems to make sure they are safe
* Repair faults when things go wrong
* Follow important safety rules
You will work with trained electricians who will guide you every step of the way.
Learn While You Work
This is an apprenticeship, so you will:
* Learn on the job every day
* Take part in training and study
* Complete your coursework and assessments
As you improve, you will be trusted to do more tasks on your own.

What We're Looking For
You’ll need:
* GCSE Maths and English Language at Level 4 (or the ability to achieve this during the apprenticeship)
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs, ideally including a science (Physics, Biology, Chemistry) or technical subject (or equivalent)
* A full UK driving licence (important as the apprenticeship will involve travelling)
