Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a nurturing and dynamic Nursery Manager into one of our early childhood education centres. The successful candidate must be dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for young children. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead the team and ensure the highest standards of care and education.
As a Nursery Manager, you will:

+ Provide leadership and management to the nursery staff.
+ Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
+ Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
+ Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively.
+ Foster positive relationships with parents, children, and the community.
+ Monitor and evaluate the nursery’s performance and implement improvement plans.
+ Support the professional development of nursery staff.
About you:

o Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/ Primary/EYFS PGCE or a related field.
o Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery or early childhood setting.
o Strong understanding of child development and early years curriculum.
o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
o Ability to inspire and motivate staff and create a positive team environment.
o Commitment to providing high-quality care and education.

Hours – Standard working hours 8.00am-3.30pm (times may vary).
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/ Primary/EYFS PGCE or a related field- ESSENTIAL
– Experience within a similar role- ESSENTIAL

* Hold right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide references upon request
* Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
