About This Role
ATTFE College is seeking to appoint a Youth Employability Engagement Officer to join an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ provider, to help give learners locally and in the wider community a chance to learn and progress further in their lives.
It is essential that you can provide evidence of Maths and English at Level 2 or above and have an understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and equality legislation in the UK.
You will have experience of working with young people (16–25) and knowledge of employment pathways, apprenticeships, and training programmes; this is essential.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication and motivational coaching skills and the ability to build trust with disadvantaged or disengaged youth.
You will have a genuine passion for youth empowerment, advocacy and community development, and for motivating young people.
Knowledge of the local mid-Notts area and experience working with vulnerable or disadvantaged young people would be an advantage.
You will work from our Sutton and Ollerton campuses and in the wider community, so a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is mandatory as you will be expected to drive between venues.
Benefits
You can expect fantastic professional development opportunities, a comprehensive employee benefits package, shopping discounts, cycle-to-work and gym schemes, cinema tickets, and an employee assistance programme. Most importantly, you will work alongside a team passionate about what they do.
