Job Title: Project & Strategy Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
Location: Solihull, West Midlands (Lode Lane)
Employment: Hybrid Working (3 Days on site)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Maternity Cover)
Working Pattern: 40 Hours Per Week | Monday – Friday
Role Overview:
Joining the Site Strategy & Transformation team, you will provide critical support in long-term site planning and investment governance. This is a hybrid role combining project financial controlling with strategic administrative support. You will ensure that capital expenditure (CapEx) projects are accurately initiated, tracked, and governed from approval to completion, maintaining strict financial discipline across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Project Controlling :
• Act as the primary lead for setting up new projects in SAP; serve as the first-line approver for purchase orders and requisitions.
• Monitor all Shopping Carts (SCs), auditing for value, purpose, timing, and invoicing accuracy.
•Track project spend against budget from initiation to closure, ensuring precise forecasting and timely financial updates.
•Support CapEx processes to ensure total compliance with internal financial standards and cost-conscious decision-making.
Strategic Governance & Support:
• Attend the Solihull Investment Committee (SIC) and Manufacturing Investment Committee (MIC); record minutes, track action items, and manage decision logs.
• Organize strategic planning forums, including agenda preparation, material circulation, and stakeholder follow-ups.
• Support the leadership team with data-driven insights and structured performance updates regarding project health and risks.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications:
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Office Suite. Prior experience with SAP is highly desirable.
• Strong financial awareness with experience in budget tracking or cost controlling.
• Ability to produce professional presentations and targeted messaging for senior leadership and diverse cross-functional teams.
Education:
• No specific degree required; however, professional certifications in Project Management, Finance, or Business Administration are viewed favorably.
