Position: Executive Personal Assistant (Executive PA)
Location: Lancashire
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is a leading, privately owned, precision engineering and technology business with a £50m turnover. The company is part of a wider group of privately owned companies with a combined £500m annual revenue. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Executive PA to join the team and provide essential support to the CEO, who is also a key Board Member of the wider group.
Role Overview:
The Executive PA will be a trusted partner to the CEO, offering comprehensive support in managing both the personal and professional aspects of the role. This is a genuine partnership opportunity, where the right candidate will be deeply involved in business operations beyond traditional Administrative duties. You will be supporting key projects, preparing reports, attending Senior Leadership Meetings, and stepping in to ensure the direction of business initiatives in the CEO’s absence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Executive Support:
* Manage the CEO’s diary, schedule, and communication to optimize time management.
* Prepare and deliver high-quality documents, presentations, and reports, particularly utilizing Excel and PowerPoint.
* Be the primary point of contact for the CEO, handling correspondence and prioritizing tasks as necessary.
* Organize and attend key leadership meetings, providing support and taking minutes.
* Project Management & Business Support:
* Take ownership for the output of specific business projects, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time and within scope.
* Prepare and present regular reports to the Board on critical business matters.
* In the absence of the CEO, take the lead on key initiatives, using delegated authority when necessary to keep projects moving forward.
* Assist the leadership team in tracking and reporting progress on strategic and operational goals.
* Business Development & Strategy Support:
* Support the preparation of strategic business plans and reports for the CEO and Chairman.
* Manage communication between senior leadership, ensuring priorities are aligned and key tasks are progressing smoothly.
* Ensure key initiatives are delivered as planned, leveraging the CEO's authority and providing oversight where needed.
* General Administration:
* Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the CEO, including handling sensitive information.
* Support the CEO with personal tasks as necessary, balancing both personal and business priorities.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience as a Personal Assistant to a senior executive or director, ideally in a privately owned business environment over a sustained partnership.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint & Word), with the ability to design and deliver detailed reports and presentations.
* Experience in project management, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
* A high degree of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information with tact.
* Ability to work independently and manage projects autonomously.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Desirable Attributes:
* Previous experience in privately owned businesses and understanding of their unique dynamics.
* Experience supporting C-suite executives or senior leaders in a strategic or project-driven capacity.
* Project management qualifications, or an interest in attaining them (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) would be a bonus.
