Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine line checks and floor audits to ensure product quality and food safety standards are met
2. Inspect production, packaging, sanitation, and warehouse processes (GMP, labeling, coding, weights, metal detection, hygiene, safety)
3. Complete and maintain accurate quality records and documentation
4. Verify compliance with procedures during production and changeovers, including allergen controls
5. Identify, isolate, and document non-conforming product; follow hold/release procedures
6. Collect and manage product samples, including retains and first runs
7. Perform routine checks (e.g., chemical concentrations, filtration, general inspections)
8. Report issues and deviations to supervisors and support corrective actions
9. Follow all health & safety, food safety, and company policies
Requirements:
10. Previous experience in a food production or quality role is required
11. HACCP and Food Safety training is required
12. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
13. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
14. Basic math and documentation skills
15. Able to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, with frequent bending, twisting, and repetitive tasks
16. Comfortable completing reports and data entry
17. Must be able to consistently follow GMP standards, including no jewellery or false nails, and maintaining proper personal hygiene (arriving clean and prepared for work each shift)
18. Willing and able to wear required PPE, including gloves, hair nets, beard nets, and steel-toe footwear
