We have a fantastic opportunity for a Company Doctor to join our in-house Occupational Health Department at JCB. This full-time role is central to supporting the health, wellbeing, and productivity of our workforce. You’ll work closely with Management, HR, and Health & Safety teams to ensure our people remain fit, healthy, and supported throughout their careers at JCB.

What this role involves day to day
As Company Doctor, you’ll carry out a wide range of medical and occupational health assessments, offering expert advice and support across the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting medical assessments and occupational health evaluations for employees
* Advising management, HR, and Health & Safety teams on sickness absence, fitness for work, rehabilitation, and redeployment
* Identifying and addressing health trends in the workplace before they impact productivity
* Providing medical care and support for employees, including assistance in managing medical emergencies
* Supporting proactive health initiatives to help our people be as healthy as possible
* Participating in a limited remote “on-call” rota to support urgent needs
This would be suited to you if
* You’re a qualified General Practitioner with MRCGP and recent experience in primary care
* You have experience or qualifications in Occupational Medicine (e.g. Diploma in Occupational Medicine, AFOM/MFOM, or working towards these)
* You’re confident in providing clinical advice in a corporate setting and working collaboratively across departments
* You have experience in travel medicine
* You hold a full UK driving licence and are comfortable working across multiple sites if required
* You’re passionate about employee wellbeing and proactive in promoting health in the workplace
