We would like to present you with an opportunity for a Transport Administration Supervisor to join our team at our Markham Vale site on a full-time permanent basis!

Salary: £30,889 per annum.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

As a Transport Administrator Supervisor, you will maintain and update fleet systems, monitor account usage, analyse and report on utilisation of resources, and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Job responsibilities include:

* Monitoring and managing trailer tracking, providing daily statistics.
* Coordinating trailer operations between transport and warehouse to ensure effective performance.
* Ensuring MOT and servicing schedules are met within timescales and paperwork is maintained.
* Managing on-site fleet services for vehicle and trailer turnaround times, parts requirements, ETA follow-ups, and updates.
* Maintaining reporting suites.
* Assisting the Transport Manager with sourcing additional equipment during peak periods.
* Managing on-site contractors related to transport functions and their control through the EOA.
* Liaising with drivers to record and address defects promptly.
* Ensuring compliance during internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

* Good commercial knowledge of transport operations.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to network with suppliers and customers.
* Team player with a professional attitude.
* Budget management experience is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Knowledge of WMS systems is a plus but not required.
