HR Advisor – Generalist
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an HR Advisor to join a vibrant, fast-paced financial services team in the City of London. You will play a key role in supporting a busy HR function, providing high quality advice and guidance to managers and employees on best practice and HR policy.
In this advisory role, you will lead on a range of Employee Relations matters including disciplinaries, probation reviews (including extensions and dismissals), and Performance Improvement Plans. You will also be responsible for updating and maintaining HR templates, policies, and procedures to ensure they remain compliant with employment legislation and industry best practice. Additionally, you will support wider HR projects and initiatives as directed by the HR Director.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience working within a fast-paced HR department
* Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified
* Confident user of HR databases
* Minimum 2 years’ generalist HR experience within Insurance, Financial Services, or another regulated industry
* Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail
* Enthusiastic, flexible, personable team player with the ability to manage a varied and busy workload
* Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong “can-do” attitude
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage professionally with employees at all levels
This is a hybrid role. When working in London, you will be based in our excellent offices near Bank. Occasional travel to client sites in the South East will be required.
