The Role:
The Route to Market Key Account Manager is responsible for managing key wholesale and distribution partnerships across the UK. This role drives sales, executes commercial strategies, and enhances brand visibility to maximise market share and profitability.
* Manage and develop relationships with key wholesalers and distributors to drive growth.
* Implement commercial strategies to optimise distribution and sales performance.
* Lead annual joint business planning (JBP) negotiations and secure profitable agreements.
* Analyse account performance and market trends to identify opportunities.
* Collaborate with marketing and trade activation teams to enhance brand visibility.
* Work cross-functionally with finance, supply chain, and category management.
* Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to refine strategies.
The Person:
* Proven experience in key account management within spirits or drinks or FMCG.
* Strong understanding of the UK on trade RTM landscape, including wholesalers and distributors.
* Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with a track record of commercial success.
* Data-driven approach to sales and market strategy.
* Self-motivated, results oriented, and adept at working in a fast paced environment.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* A love for premium spirits brands
