Role overview:
This role is within our subsidiary, Optimity, a rapidly growing managed service provider with a strong history in the ISP market. We seek a Level 1SD Agent with comprehensive skills in an MSP environment, managing multiple client setups. The ideal candidate is ambitious, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. You will handle incoming issues from the Service Desk, collaborate closely with other teams, and engage in site visits, requiring strong commercial awareness and social skills.

Key responsibilities:
* Previous experience with an MSP or ISP.
* Proficiency with Windows Server, including Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP troubleshooting, and administration.
* Experience with Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Sync environments.
* Familiarity with Remote Desktop Servers.
* Support skills for Windows, Mac, Remote Desktop Sessions, and RDS Farms.
* Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP.
* Excellent communication skills to handle technical issues under pressure.
* Experience supporting SMEs in a service environment.
* Background in the tech or ISP sectors.
Desired Skills:
* Knowledge of CRM/ERP systems like Oracle or Salesforce.
The right candidate:
* Answers incoming calls effectively.
* Provides first-line remote and customer-facing support.
* Offers internal IT support when needed.
* Manages helpdesk tickets and incidents.
* Performs troubleshooting on PCs, firewalls, and servers.
* Conducts daily system checks, including backups.
* Delivers proactive and reactive technical support to meet client SLAs.
* Maintains and updates internal documentation and logs activities for billing and reporting.
* Participates in OOH rota if required.
* Ensures high levels of client satisfaction.
* Communicates clearly with customers about incident status and outages.
* Escalates unresolved issues within service levels.
* Stays current with industry technologies.
