Lance Operator Specialist Maintenance Services / Engineering
Basic starting salary of £25,500 increasing quickly to £27,000 on completion of training course; plus additional allowances paid into your salary at approximately £500 monthly; plus overtime. A typical Lance Operator annual take home pay is up to £42,300, plus discretionary bonus (10% annual), pension ++ Travel with overnight stays (funded) from our Guildford headquarters

THE ROLE
* Working as part of a small team lead by the Team Leader to ensure allocated tasks are achieved on time and according to specification, whilst delivering essential plant/machinery maintenance and cleaning services
* Manual role, working with specialist equipment, occasionally in confined space and at times challenging conditions (full training and PPE supplied)
* Complying with instructions to ensure client requirements are carried out efficiently, in line with risk assessments, method statements and operational procedures whilst following specified work instructions
* Receipt, storage, transportation and use of tools and other equipment, to ensure reliable stock control and accurate equipment inventory records
* Adhering to Health & Safety standards at all times both on and off site; keeping work areas clean and tidy, identifying and reporting any potential hazards
* Carrying out equipment maintenance tasks and general yard duties as directed
* Working on client sites, requiring a professional demeanor at all times
OTHER
* Driving licence (essential)
* Ability to travel from our Guildford site, and stay overnight in hotels as required (fully funded on expenses)
* Indefinite right to remain in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship)
* Able to self commute to our Guildford site, whilst you will drive our specialist vans, those are NOT taken home for personal use
PAY & BENEFITS:
Basic starting salary of £25,500 increasing quickly to £27,000 on completion of short training course; plus additional allowances paid into your salary at approximately £500 monthly; plus overtime bringing a typical Lance Operator annual take home pay of up to £42,300, plus discretionary bonus (10% annual), pension ++ Travel with overnight stays (funded) from our Guildford headquarters; annual leave 30 days including bank holidays - increasing with each years completed service; usual working hours Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm
