Technical Sales Engineer opportunity available with our client, a specialist in the design, manufacturing, installation, and servicing of pumped drainage and wastewater systems across the UK, with OTE earnings of up to £39k and based out of their offices in Hemel Hempstead.
This role is ideal for anyone currently working within a technical sales or administration role within the engineering sector, in particular with any experience/exposure of pump systems, plumbing, drainage, or heating systems.
Technical Sales Engineer Job Responsibilities
* Receiving customer enquiries and converting these into specifications and quotes that are suitable to the client's needs
* Completing full quotations and chasing these with clients
* Recording sales orders with the relevant internal teams
* Raising purchase orders and invoices
* Following up with clients after successful sales to ensure a positive customer experience
* Participating in an out of hours rota occasionally for technical support
Technical Sales Engineer Job Requirements
* Sales and/or administration background within the engineering sector
* Any experience within the water sector such as pumps, plumbing, drainage, or heating is highly desirable
* Ideally holding a Mechanical or Electrical degree
* Based within a commutable distance of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
* Strong I.T competency, including Microsoft Office, with any experience using a CRM system desirable
Technical Sales Engineer Salary & Benefits
* Basic salary £32,000 - £35,000, depending on experience
* Bonus ranging from £2k - £4k per annum
