A leading US law firm is looking to recruit a Data Privacy Associate (2-4 PQE) to join its established Privacy and Cybersecurity practice in London. The role offers the opportunity to work with multinational organisations on complex, cross-border data protection and technology regulatory matters.
The Team
The group is a well-established international practice advising clients on the full spectrum of data protection, cybersecurity and digital regulatory issues. Lawyers support clients navigating evolving regulatory frameworks including GDPR compliance, international data transfers, cyber incident response and emerging digital regulation across sectors such as tech, FS, life sciences, digital platforms and consumer businesses.
The Role
* Compliance with UK and EU data protection laws, including GDPR.
* Cross-border data transfers and global data governance frameworks.
* Cybersecurity incidents and data breach response.
* Privacy aspects of M&A and corporate transactions.
* Regulatory investigations and enforcement matters.
* Emerging regulatory developments in AI, digital data and technology regulation.
The Candidate
* 2-4 years' PQE, qualified in E&W OR significant UK experience.
* Strong working knowledge of UK and EU data protection frameworks.
* Experience gained at a leading international or City firm.
* A genuine interest in technology regulation, digital governance and cyber risk.
