Our client are a global property and real estate organisation, working across both commercial and residential sectors, and have a requirement for a Senior Engineering Manager to be based at a high profile development inCentral London. This role will bethe technical services lead for all functions and services across a mixed use development, and lead a handful of other engineering / technical services managers.Not only will you be an expert in a variety of engineering and technical disciplines, but will also act as the technical ambassador for the development, its occupiers and customers. Guideline salary for this position iscirca GBP 90:105k basic salary and also includes a discretionary annual bonus, healthcare, pension scheme.
A client and customer facing role, key to the function will be to implement and maintain effective management of systems and procedures in the delivery and continuity of service of the Mechanical, Electrical, VT, Public Health and IT Infrastructure Services and Energy performance across the development, while protecting and enhancing the landlord's assets. Also an active involvement inthe management of Health, Safety and Wellbeing for all users of the Estate.
Reportinginto theGeneral Manager / Estate Director and work alongside and collaborate withthe property and facilities team, deputising where necessary. The individual will provide strategic technical direction, strong leadership, as well as operational planning and solutions covering MEP, VT operations and Energy Management with a view to providing a world class service.They will act asManaging Agent interface for technical activity with the assistance and support as required by thecompanies central engineering team.
Candidates must be fully qualified in an engineering discipline (mechanical/electrical), ideally having served a full apprenticeship. Minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Engineering Management role, or as a hard:services AccountDirector / Area General Manager with experience managing on the FM Service Provider side.
