We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established, forward-thinking accountancy and advisory firm based in Ascot. With an ambitious five-year growth plan, the firm is looking to strengthen its leadership team with the addition of a Senior Audit Manager.

The Opportunity
As Senior Audit Manager, you’ll take responsibility for managing a portfolio of audit clients – including owner-managed businesses and large groups – while leading a team of qualified and part-qualified auditors. You’ll play a key role in shaping audit delivery, maintaining quality, and supporting client growth through commercial insight and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee audit assignments from planning to completion
Manage a portfolio of corporate audit clients across a range of sectors
Act as the main point of contact for key client relationships
Provide technical guidance on complex audits and ensure regulatory compliance
Lead, coach, and develop audit staff at various levels
Work closely with Partners on strategy, quality control, and client service delivery
Contribute to business development, proposals, and the growth of the audit department
About You:
ACA or ACCA qualified
Significant audit experience in UK practice, including managing large or complex audits
Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
A commercial mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
Experience with CCH or similar software is desirable
