Overview
University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. This aligns with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill or salary thresholds for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you may apply, but UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa. You must also have at least six months remaining on your graduate visa at the start of employment for training and operational reasons.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team based within CT to help ensure the delivery of efficient and safe patient flows for CT examinations.
* Organise CT lists and maintain patient flows in A&E, liaise with wards regarding inpatients, assist Radiographers and/or Radiologists during CT examinations, cannulate patients and undertake observation checks.
* Review the Radiology Information System regularly throughout the duty to monitor the CT attendance list, with reference to A&E and Inpatients CT referrals.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in a busy, well-organised environment; preferably within the NHS.
* Mathematics and English Level 2 (or equivalent).
* Interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
* Willingness to work shifts including long days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
* IT literate and able to review systems as part of duty requirements.
Role and Team
Your day-to-day role will involve organising CT lists, maintaining patient flows, and supporting Radiographers and Radiologists during CT examinations within a busy department. You will contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care and service delivery in the CT Imaging Department.
