Valerios fish and chip shop are looking to recruit a Counter Assistant for our busy award winning cafe.
Candidates should be friendly with a positive attitude and be able to work well under pressure in a busy, fast paced environment. Experience within the catering or fast food industry is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Main duties will include:
Serving customers in a friendly and helpful manner
Preparing foods orders accurately
Maintaining stock levels
Cash handling and using our till systems accurately
Ensuring all food preparation areas and equipment are clean and tidy
This role requires some flexibility as shifts will vary between 9am to 8.30pm, 7 days per week. The position will offer promotion to the correct candidate.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
