Maths teacher
Location: Sevenoaks
Contract: Temporary (with potential for long term opportunities)
Pay/rate: 130 - 200 per day (dependent on role)
Start date: Flexible
Your role
At term time teachers are seeking an engaging and proficient Mathematics Teacher as part of our agency team to teach within successful Mathematic Departments at a variety of schools within the Sevenoaks area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to children's mathematical academic progress.
Your Responsibilities
* Plan and mark work timely, producing feedback to the children to support their academic progress.
* Teach the mathematics curriculum to secondary school pupils
* Encourage curiosity, analytic thinking and problem solving within mathematical activities.
* Monitor children's development and assess their ongoing progress
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
* Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's well-being
