As a Support Team Leader, you will assist the Deputy Manager to help drive the success of the service by creating a positive, supportive environment where both the people we support and your team can thrive. To be considered for this role you must hold a Full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle. A day in the life of a Support Team Leader would include: * Supporting the smooth running of the service, ensuring we promote the growth of the people we support * Work closely with the Registered Manager, demonstrating best practice * Providing guidance and direction to colleagues/ new starters * Continuously reviewing care plans ensuring exciting updates and progress are always recorded * Completing medication audits * Ordering medication when needed * Being on call (on a rota basis) * Managing staff spot checks Hours: Part Time - 24 hours per work This would be a mixture of shifts between 8am – 10pm, Monday – Sunday. You would be required to work alternate weekends and complete sleep ins (sleep ins come with an additional payment). What we are looking for: * Level 2 Social Care (or equivalent) * Experience with Autism and working with challenging behaviour * Communicate effectively with colleagues and other professionals * Administration skills * Good organisational skills * Able to work flexible hours including sleep ins and on call shifts. * Ability to work on your own and as part of a team * A full UK drivers license and access to a car Why we are proud to work for Autism Unlimited Why join us?
