Role Overview
The New Client Engagement Director is responsible for identifying and converting accounts within our cloud and managed service offerings, working closely with the Hyperscale community in a co-sell model. The role involves generating leads, cultivating inbound opportunities, and working with Hyperscalers and partners, requiring demonstrable experience in co-selling with these entities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create pipeline directly and through Hyperscalers and partners.
2. Manage pipeline and close opportunities to meet booking targets.
3. Develop co-selling strategies with Hyperscalers and partners.
4. Network to identify new direct client engagements within targeted accounts.
5. Hunt for new business through marketing activities, relationship cultivation, account mapping, and cold/warm calling.
6. Sell the full portfolio of services, focusing on hyperscalers and transformation services.
7. Maintain Salesforce activity accuracy.
Skills & Experience
* Proven 'hunter' sales professional with success against targets.
* Experience selling managed cloud hosting, digital transformation, and consultancy services.
* Experience working with Hyperscalers and partners.
* Strong networking skills, with experience engaging at CxO level.
* Ability to articulate solutions from a business perspective.
* Methodical, strategic thinker and solution seller.
* Up-to-date industry knowledge and storytelling skills.
* Persuasive with influencing skills and excellent time management.
* Collaborative team player.
