They are seeking an experienced Technical Analyst to play a key role in the delivery and ongoing success of a new ERP implementation. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working close to the business, and taking ownership of systems, data, and reporting in a fast-paced operational environment. The Opportunity The business is currently implementing a new ERP platform (Dynamics Business Central), due to go live later this year. Youll work closely with senior internal stakeholders, external implementation partners, and a small internal IT team to ensure the system is delivered successfully and continues to evolve in line with business needs. This is not a purely support-based role - the organisation needs someone who can identify issues independently, propose solutions, and take ownership of delivery. Key Responsibilities Act as a key internal point of expertise for the ERP system (Dynamics Business Central) Support the end-to-end ERP implementation, testing, go-live, and post-implementation optimisation Work closely with external implementation partners to ensure delivery aligns with business requirements Own and develop reporting capability across the business (SQL, BI, dashboards, operational reports) Develop and maintain SQL queries and views to support reporting, insights, and operational decision-making Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into clear reporting outputs Support and maintain API integrations between ERP and connected systems (where required), helping ensure reliable data flow Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for system and process improvement Gather requirements directly from stakeholders across operations, finance, and leadership Troubleshoot system issues, investigate root causes, and propose practical solutions Support data integrity, system configuration, and ongoing enhancements Contribute to wider IT and data strategy across the organisation Build strong working relationships with internal teams in a hands-on, operational environment About You Youll likely come from a background such as Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, ERP Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar. Key experience includes: Strong experience working with ERP systems (Dynamics highly desirable) Experience contributing to or leading end-to-end ERP implementations Excellent working knowledge of SQL, including writing complex queries and creating/maintaining SQL views Strong understanding of data structures and how to shape data for reporting and analysis Experience with reporting tools / BI platforms (Power BI or similar) Working knowledge of API integrations (supporting, troubleshooting, or collaborating on integrations between systems) Ability to work independently, identify issues, and take ownership of solutions Comfortable engaging directly with stakeholders across non-technical business functions Experience working in operational environments such as manufacturing, construction, engineering, or logistics (advantageous) Pragmatic, resilient, and able to operate in a business where priorities move quickly and deadlines matter Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge where needed Benefits Competitive Salary (based on experience) Onsite for onboarding then moving into hybrid working 2 weeks off at Christmas Pension Private Healthcare Long-term, permanent opportunity with genuine ownership To find out more about this opportunity, hit Apply or reach out to a member of the Enso Recruitment team today!
