This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join the Mental Health Rehabilitation Service as we launch Community Rehabilitation in North Kent. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced therapists.
Community Rehabilitation supports people with mental health problems to live a full and active life within their family & community, working in partnership with Social Care, Housing and Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector.
As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for offering high-quality psychological treatments (individual & group) and family interventions. Case consultation and joint work with team members will also be expected. You will have ample scope and support to develop your own practice, whilst providing a highly professional service to people with psychosis and their families.
What is High Cost Area Allowance?
The High-Cost Area (HCA) allowance, also known as London Weighting, is a payment made to employees working in London and surrounding areas.
As this post is based in Dartford, Gravesham or Swanley, the successful applicant will receive an additional payment each month: 5% of basic salary, subject to a minimum of £1,303 and a maximum of £2,198 per year (2025 figures). This amount will be divided into 12 monthly payments.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing systematic Psychological Therapies or interventions
2. Undertaking high-quality direct and indirect specialist psychology interventions (including CBT/CBTp & family Interventions)
3. Collaborating as part of the multi-professional team to enhance therapeutic practice

Candidate requirements:
* Postgraduate Qualification in Clinical Psychology/CBT
* HCPC or BABCP registration
* Experience working with adults with mental health problems
* Full, valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use (unless disabled as per the Equality Act 2010)
