Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm and alternative Saturdays 9am-1pm
We are seeking to recruit a keen and motivated Parts Manager to add to our existing skilled and dedicated aftersales team, and to further strengthen our commitment to delivering a first-class service to our customers.
As a parts manager you will be directly responsible managing the day to day running of the parts department, including trade parts sales, internal retail customer sales and workshop supply.
Parts managers, as well as managing a team in this department, will also maintain the right amount and level of stock, as well as ensuring the parts for our service and repair operations are kept in order.
KEY DUTIES
* Achieve optimum market penetration by maximising sales of parts to trade and retail outlets.
* Exceed agreed profit margins generating an above average return on investment.
* Achieve all sales and profit objectives for the Parts department.
* Ensure stock levels are effectively controlled.
* Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all department administration & operational data.
* Brief the team regarding department objectives and give regular feedback on achievements.
* Develop and maintain professional working relationships with suppliers.
* Achieve the highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times.
PERSON REQUIREMENTS
* Able to show a positive, ambitious attitude with a focus on great customer service.
* Great communication and influencing skills.
* Financial knowledge, including previous experience of accounts and KPIs.
* High levels of accuracy and fantastic attention to detail.
* Ability to understand stock parameters, including control of potential obsolescence.
* The ability to multi-task and deliver great results, even under pressure.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Must have a valid driving licence.
