Veolia has one of the largest fleets in the UK, and we are looking for drivers to join our Hazardous Logistics fleet in Widnes, where you will be driving a fleet of modern vehicles. Ready to find the right role for you?
Salary: £16.77 per Hour consolidated
* Minimum weekly earnings of £838.50
* Minimum annual earnings of £43,602
* Some nights out required paid at £41.47 (parking paid separately on expenses)
* Saturday overtime rate £22.17
* Sunday overtime rate £29.57
Hours: 50 hours per week guaranteed. Monday to Friday (shifts normally start between 5am and 6am). Shifts between 10 and 13 hours.
Location: Widnes, WA8 8XW
What you'll be doing
* Collecting hazardous and non-hazardous waste from various commercial sites around the UK on vacuum tankers and general purpose tankers.
* Operating curtain siders.
* Ensure that each day all completed work is detailed on your daily worksheet and that they are handed in daily/weekly along with the daily vehicle check sheets, fuel receipts and weighbridge tickets.
* Comply with all traffic laws and legislation with relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads.
What we're looking for
* Cat C+E (Class 1) licence and previous driving experience.
* Driver CPC
* ADR in packages
* Curtainside experience
