PstrongThis role is a joint resource across both the Agri GB and Agri NI HR teams. The successful applicant will be based in either GB or NI with an expectation to travel to the Agri sites which fall within the role remit across the UK/strong/ppThe HR Advisor isa credible and proactive member of the HR Team supporting the HR Business Partner with managing the day-to-day HR operation through the delivery of an effective and efficient generalist HR advisory service, that is both in line with best practice and meets both the companys objectives and wider legal requirements./ppThe HR Advisor will play a crucial role in the HR Team, assisting in the implementation of HR policy and procedure aligned with the overall people and business strategy./ppFor smaller sites the HR Advisor will ensure the quality of operational training against core priority areas for the site through providing a proactive, effective, engaging, and professional Training services to the site./ppuGroup People Strategy/u/pul liUnderstand group people strategy and work in line with strategic direction/li liWork closely with specialist functions such as Talent and Experience and Learning & Development to deliver on site / area plans. Driving delivery of key metrics, such as turnover, absence and retention rates/li/ulpuPolicies & Procedures/u/pul liUnderstand and work in line with policies and procedures, with a solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices./li liEducate managers to understand and work in line with policies and procedures/li/ulpuEmployee Relations/u/pul liPartner with the site team to ensure allER cases are resolved in a timely manner/li liManage and administer capability, conduct and grievance cases alongside the relevant manager providing legal and policy compliant advice./li/ulpuEmployee Data base:/uu?/u/pul liEnsure all HR Systems are maintained and kept up to date with accurate information./li liHandle personal data and information in a professional manner ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality./li/ulpuAbsence Management:/uu?/u/pul liSupport and challenge Managers to drive delivery on absence reduction plans/li liManage sickness absence in collaboration with managers, assisting staff back to work and working with managers to reduce sickness absence across the organisation./li liSupport HR Business Partner in the delivery of absence KPIs by maintaining accurate records and documentation./li/ulp?uEthical and Pillar Book:/uu?/u/pul liSupport SEDEX and Customer specific reporting and complianceappropriately./li liSupport customer and ethical audits are in order to achieve the highest score.?/li/ulpuOccupational Health:/u/pul liManaging the Occupational Health diary to allocate team members referrals (ad hoc referrals / health surveillance)?/li liProvide advice to Managers in the implementation of any recommendations from management referrals/li/ulp?uLearning and Development:/u/pul liSupport the siteto achieve and maintain 100% training compliance against all training requirements across all business disciplinesi.e.legal, technical and H&S to meet customer, legal)?./li liAligning site requirements with centrally provided training to maximise development opportunities/li/ulpuHSE/u/ppPro-actively support Health and Safety initiatives across the site and within the HR department including Go For Zero campaigns, awareness and compliance?/ppuResource Planning:/uu?/u/pul liWork with Operational business partners to develop solutions for gaps in establishment figures/li liPromote apprenticeship opportunities/li liWork with local colleges and schools to promote careers within the food industry supporting future talent pipe line./li/ulpuRecruitment and onboarding:/uu?/u/pul liPartnerthe hiring manager and Talent Acquisition throughout the processensuringthe bestcandidate is selected and appointed.?/li liSupport a seamless recruitment process between People Services, Learning & Development and hiring manager/li/ulpuCommunication and Leadership/u/pul liAdvocate and champion Diversity within the site/li liLead on ensuring that our Values are communicated and practiced by our employees at all levels/li liBest in class communication processes and systems are established and implemented on the site/li liSupport the HR Business Partner with the smooth running of Works Councils / Engagement Forums / Colleague Forums to be in place/li/ulpuEngagement /u/pul liCoordinate and support engagement plan activity/li liDrive localised well-being events./li liWork pro-actively with identified local community and charity partners to support the local area./li/ulpuOther:/uu?/u/pul liParticipate in HR project work offering feedback to makeimprovements.?/li liAttend HR meetings, Conference, Development Activity, other meetings, travelling in the role to other sites asrequired.?/li liSupport the Operational business partners to deliverbusiness objectives/li liRaise HR tickets to action all HR administrative requests, following ticket system and adhering to SLA?/li/ulul liProvide professional effective advice to support change initiatives/li liDemonstrate financial awareness of actions and decisions including cost-conscious practices Any other duties as required/li/ulpuTraining (smaller sites)/u/pul liValidate factory training processes, SOPs, work instructions etc that have been delivered by operational trainers and technical teams using observation, questioning techniques and coaching/li liUpdate the Training System daily/li liEnsure all training evidence / resources are completed correctly, signed, and dated to support with due diligence./li liAdvise on the creation of Job Specific SOPs to ensure they are clear for training purposes/li liSupport audits when requested to do so/li liLead inductions/li liRaise concerns with inaccuracies in SOPs / Work Instructions to the SME and relevant key stakeholder so they can make corrective actions/li liWork closely with key stakeholders to ensure changes in operations are reported to the SME and relevant key stakeholders/li liLead class based training at site/li/ulpstrongKey Deliverables/strong/pul liSafety as a Condition/li liProactive plans to support the overall employee experience and staff engagement/li liProactive plans to support KPI delivery/li liSite Absence % within target/li liSite 30-day retention % within target/li liSite Labour turnover within target/li liSite Agency % within target/li liSite Training Matrix %/li liCompliance Training %/li/ul
