Seasalt began in 1981 with a small shop in Penzance, selling workwear to local mariners and practical overalls to artists. Today, we’ve grown into a thriving omnichannel retailer with over 70 UK and Ireland stores, 400+ wholesale stockists, and a growing international and online footprint.

As a B Corp and winner of both Drapers “Best Place to Work” and CIPD’s “Best Recognition Programme”, we care deeply about our people, our communities and our long-term impact. Our Head Office teams provide the foundations that empower our people to drive sustainable growth across the UK and international markets.

The Talent and Development Manager supports the design and delivery of Seasalt’s talent and learning strategies, playing an instrumental role in developing internal capability and enhancing employee experience and career progression across the business. Supported by the Senior Talent Manager, through your leadership you’ll inspire employees to perform at their best and build a high-performing, inclusive culture.

Please note, as part of our Seasalt Connected approach to ways of working, this role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall Head office locations (minimum of two days per week) and the remainder working remotely within the UK.

* Collaborating with HR Business Partners to address development needs identified within people plans.
* Ensuring development initiatives and learning interventions align with business strategy and deliver return on investment.
* Driving the continuous improvement of the performance management cycle, including provision of clear and engaging resources and guidance.
* Contributing to engagement initiatives and action planning following surveys or feedback mechanisms.
* Championing a learning culture and growth mindset by encouraging knowledge sharing, peer learning, and digital learning platforms.
