As part of growing the Ocado business, we have recently announced a new mission to sell our unique ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) product to organisations operating outside of grocery e-commerce across the globe.
The MHE and software is highly advanced and previously only available to grocers.
About the role
There is an opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team, who will lead delivery of large scale Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) projects to Ocado's customers and will be accountable for the following:
* Project Management of projects from the pre-deal to 'ready for execution'
* Core technical project management routines
* Project Leadership and Stakeholder Management
* Process and delivery method development including a focus on continuous improvement
About you
* Project leadership experience
* A highly analytical and logical approach to work
* Effective communication and presentation skills at all levels of the business and with clients
* Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
* Ability to plan and prioritise workload, ensuring all given deadlines are met
* Ability to read situations and understand commercial and contractual impact
* Ability to multitask and manage a number of projects and responsibilities at the same time
* Ability to understand and challenge expert opinions
Preferred (in addition to the above)
* Knowledge of MHE including design principles
* Software experience
* Experience owning/managing P&Ls
* Experience working in a technical discipline / demonstrated understanding of challenging technical concepts
* Experience working with contracts / legal documents
* Language skills
* Project management qualification
* Degree-level educated or equivalent
