We support service users in the following locations across London:
Work Location: Sudbury Hill, Neasden, Harrow, Stanmore, Edgeware, Cannon Park, Wembley
Shifts are across seven days a week,
Evening shifts: 2:00 pm – 10:00/11:00 pm
Care Assistant Role & Responsibilities
* Support clients to live safer and supported lives in their own homes by following individual care plans, assisting with personal care, managing medication, and practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.
* Help clients overcome mobility problems and physical disabilities, including the use and care of aids and adaptations.
* Assist with domestic tasks such as making beds, tidying, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.
* Provide personal care, including washing, bathing, and toileting, maintaining dignity and privacy.
* Help with eating and drinking, preparing meals, snacks, and drinks, and assisting with feeding if needed.
* Assist with medication administration as per care plans.
Additional Tasks
* Provide companionship and prevent loneliness through engaging activities and outings.
* Support with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
* Manage medication reminders and administration.
* Prepare nutritious meals considering dietary needs.
* Maintain a clean and tidy home environment.
* Assist with mobility and transfers.
* Observe and report health changes.
* Encourage social participation and emotional support.
* Maintain accurate care records.
* Ensure safety and respond to emergencies.
* Collaborate with care teams and family members.
