Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.On behalf of Rolls-Royce, we are looking for a Senior Project Engineer - Manufacturing for a 12 month contract based in Derby .This role is a hybrid position in which you will be based in Rolls-Royce' Derby facility Tues-Thurs each week and working from home Monday and Friday.Some occasional travel will be required for this role within the UK and Europe to support test activities.Purpose of the role:Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple bespoke test rig projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet customer requirementsAct as the key interface between customers, engineering teams, and suppliers to translate technical needs into structured delivery plansCoordinate complex, multi-stakeholder activities to deliver certification-ready test solutions within defined timelines and standardsWhat you'll do:Manage test rig projects from concept through to certificationEngage with customers to define requirements and agree delivery plansWork closely with design engineers to develop testing solutionsCoordinate test setup, including software, hardware, and locationManage suppliers and supply chain for externally built rigs and componentsApply structured delivery processes and track progress using planning toolsAnalyse and communicate project data and updates to stakeholdersDeliver final test results and certification documentationThe skills you'll need:Experience in project engineering or project management within an engineering environmentStrong mechanical engineering understandingProven ability to manage multiple projects end-to-endExcellent stakeholder and supplier management skillsExperience using planning tools (e.g.
