A unique opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Administrator to join the Careers team at Castle Mead Academy, part of The Mead Educational Trust.


About Castle Mead Academy

Opened in August 2019, Castle Mead Academy is a non-selective secondary school welcoming its first cohort of Year 7 students. By 2024, it will operate at full capacity with 1200 scholars. Building on the success of Rushey Mead Academy, Castle Mead aims to provide a high standard of education comparable to the best schools nationally, equipping students with valuable academic qualifications and positive dispositions for fulfilling lives.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Administrator to:

1. Provide comprehensive support for the administration of the careers programme at Castle Mead Academy.
2. Perform higher-level administrative tasks, including managing Year 9 options, Year 10 work experience, and Year 11 post-16 applications.
3. Work effectively in our £37m new building located on the picturesque riverside.

Safeguarding

Castle Mead Academy is committed to safeguarding children and young people. This role involves contact with vulnerable groups and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Shortlisted candidates will be required to declare all criminal convictions, cautions, reprimands, and bind-overs, both spent and unspent, before interview.
