Candidates will need experience working in a CNC machining environment and will need familiarity with 4/5 axis machining. This role would suit an experienced Production Manager or Supervisor/Team Leader looking to take the next step in their career. Knowledge of CAD is also required. The Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing manufacturing operations, which will involve overseeing a workshop of 14 people with headcount expected to increase. The Workshop Manager will be responsible for the implementation of new manufacturing processes and improvements, including the implementation of new KPIs and monitoring systems. The Workshop Manager Role: · Establishment of new manufacturing processes · Manufacturing / capacity planning – working with one off and bulk orders · Management of lead times · Quality management – quality checks of parts and processes · Managing a team of 14 in the workshop and 2 in the drawing office · Using CAD to support the development of designs to be shared with customers · Ensuring H&S standards onsite The Workshop Manager Candidate: · Experience working in a CNC machining environment · Leadership/management experience · CAD knowledge
