Adecco are delighted to be supporting our client in recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join their busy team!
Key Duties
* Lead, support, and develop the warehouse team across varying shifts, ensuring performance standards, efficiency, and appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
* Take responsibility for all warehouse activities, including:
o Managing timely and accurate receipt of goods.
o Ensuring production lines are supplied with the right materials when needed.
o Coordinating accurate and timely shipment of finished products to customers in line with instructions and specifications.
* Implement and maintain effective stock control measures to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Track and review warehouse KPIs to achieve productivity, safety, and quality goals.
* Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
* Identify and deliver process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
* Work collaboratively with production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
* Ensure ERP records and warehouse documentation are accurate and up to date.
* Support enhancements to systems and processes related to warehouse and ERP functions.
About You
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including receiving, material flow, and dispatch.
* Proven experience leading and motivating teams in a fast-moving environment.
* Confident user of ERP systems; prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Flexible and able to work across shifts to meet operational demands.
* Knowledge of lean or continuous improvement methods would be advantageous.
