Offer description

Are you looking for a career move into Business Continuity (BC) and IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR)? We are recruiting two junior positions for entry-level Resilience Analysts to join our team.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone eager to learn, with no prior experience needed. We are looking for individuals who are proficient with Microsoft Office packages and have good communication skills.

Business Continuity (BC) and IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) are critical strategies that help businesses stay operational during disruptions like natural disasters, cyberattacks, or IT failures. BC ensures the business can continue functioning, while ITDR focuses on restoring technology systems. At Sopra Steria, we use these strategies to keep operations running smoothly, minimise downtime, and recover quickly from unexpected events.

This is a hybrid role which will require you to be on-site once a week at either our Hemel or London office for training, support and collaboration.

What you will be doing:

As a Resilience Analyst, you'll play an essential role in supporting our Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery functions. You’ll be responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation, analysing data, and supporting administrative tasks, all while being fully trained on the job. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in this growing field!

Key Responsibilities:

* Data Entry & Documentation: Organise and update BC and ITDR-related data using templates, spreadsheets, and databases.
* Administrative Support: Support in updating Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and ITDR policies, schedule team meetings, and help with coordinating tests and reviews.
* Communication Support: Prepare basic reports, updates, and summaries for internal partners, and answer routine queries.
* File & Resource Management: Maintain records and support archiving and retrieval of historical data.
* Training & Development: Receive full training in BC and ITDR processes, including standard methodologies like ISO 22301.

What you’ll bring:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Comfortable using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
* Organisational Skills: Ability to stay organised, prioritise tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
* Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills, with the confidence to speak to all levels of the organisation.
* Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to develop in this field.
* No Experience Needed: This is an entry-level role, so we welcome anyone with a passion to learn, no prior experience required.

What You’ll Get:

* Full Training: On-the-job learning in Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery.
* Mentorship & Support: A dedicated team to guide you as you develop your skills.
* Career Growth: Opportunities to advance within the BC and ITDR fields as you gain experience.

If you are proactive, diligent, and ready to start your career in Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery, we want to hear from you!

Although this role is advertised as full-time, we believe that flexibility at work can promote work/life balance, increase your motivation, reduce stress and improves performance and productivity. We support different ways of working and can offer a range of flexible working arrangements. So, if you’re interested and need to work flexibly, we encourage you to apply and talk to us about what might be possible.
