Clinical Education Support Officer
Are you an experienced administrator with an interest and experience in clinical education programmes? Are you an excellent communicator who is adaptable and organised? Are you able to effectively analyse and manipulate data?
The School of Dentistry provides undergraduate and postgraduate clinical and non-clinical education.
This role supports the School’s student education strategy by delivering high-quality clinical education. Key responsibilities include managing clinical placement activity and monitoring student clinical progress and experience data. This enables evidence-based decisions on student progress, especially at the ‘Sign-Off’ stage, to determine whether final-year students meet all requirements before entering the General Dental Council register as independent practitioners.
This is an opportunity to work with a dedicated team of clinical academic colleagues committed to preparing the next generation of dental professionals as competent, safe practitioners.
The role involves supporting the ongoing management of the School’s clinical placement activities, recording and monitoring student clinical experience data, reporting to School committees, providing data analysis reports, and supporting quality assurance processes.
