We’re looking for a Configuration Manager to be responsible for the management of changes to the Cloud Platform configuration system, making sure that changes to configuration are correctly documented, approved and implemented to maintain system stability.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, high-impact systems and make a real difference, on one of the largest Fusion cloud platforms in Europe.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and monitoring configuration across multiple environments, embedding a configuration management database (CMDB), and ensuring changes are implemented and documented. You’ll also liaise with senior supplier contacts, including major vendors like Oracle and Salesforce.
This hybrid role offers excellent work life balance as the successful applicant will only need to attend our office in Leeds or Salford once or twice a week.
What you'll be doing:
1. Managing configuration across multiple cloud environments
2. Maintaining and monitoring configuration documentation
3. Embedding and managing a CMDB for infrastructure
4. Reporting on changes and patching cycles
5. Working closely with business leads and suppliers to implement mandatory and optional changes
6. Liaising with offshore teams and senior supplier contacts
What you’ll bring:
7. Experience managing a cloud platform configuration system
8. Strong understanding of CMDB
9. Fusion configuration experience (EPM and ERP)
10. Knowledge of Salesforce and cloud infrastructure (Azure, Oracle, AWS)
11. Supplier management experience
