Our client, a small to medium sized manufacturing business, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Maintenance Electrician to join their team.
Overview
The role involves providing hands-on support in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving plant equipment, must have strong focus on electrical systems while supporting mechanical tasks as required.
The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring maximum uptime of critical electroplating lines, ancillary equipment, and supporting utilities, while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment including plating lines, rectifiers, pumps, motors, compressed air and control panels.
2. Diagnose and repair electrical faults, control wiring, drives, sensors, and instrumentation.
3. Support mechanical repairs such as pumps, pipework, and hydraulics as required.
4. Ensure equipment is maintained to achieve maximum efficiency and reliability, minimizing downtime.
