A fabulous three day nanny position is now available in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
You will be caring for one little boy aged 6½ years. The family is seeking a happy, fun and organised nanny, to become part of their loving family.
Their ideal nanny a warm nurturing approach and a strong rapport with children. You will collect him from school or activities each day and provide care until his parents take over at bedtime.
The hours will be as follows:
Term time (34 weeks) – 15 hours/week
Wednesday – 14.00-19.00
Thursday – 14.00-19.00
Friday – 14.00-19.00
School holidays (18 weeks) – 21 hours/week
Wednesday – 14.00-19.00
Thursday – 07.30-18.30
Friday – 14.00-19.00
Your salary will be split evenly across the year.
The parents are eager for their little boy to learn and grow in a balanced way, achieving developmental milestones through stimulating indoor activities like sensory play, imaginative games, reading, puzzles, and crafts, alongside plenty of outdoor play and park visits. In the holidays they would like him to attend playdates and activities, ensuring his happiness and safety. The family live within walking distance of parks and town amenities.
In addition to general childcare duties (feeding, establishing routines, etc.), responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organisation in areas used by the little boy (kitchen, his bedrooms, playroom, etc.). Nursery duties include helping with his laundry and providing healthy, nutritious meals when required. You will make sure he has everything ready for the next day (uniform, sports kit, etc) and oversee any homework.
A weekly cleaner is employed by the family, but any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated (running the occasional errand, picking up groceries, etc).
A careful and confident driver with a clean licence and a fully insured driver is required. Duty mileage will be reimbursed.
