Overview
PrimeLife Ltd is looking for a Care Assistant on a full-time basis. The role is based at Meadow View Care Home, Alcester. The home has 42 residents with a range of age-related health conditions, physical disabilities and mental health conditions that require dignified support. Many residents have Dementia. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Base pay and benefits
Base pay range: £12.45 to £12.80 per hour, dependent upon qualification level.

This role offers regular set shift patterns across a 7-day working week and a strong focus on work-life balance.
Responsibilities
* Assisting residents with personal hygiene and choosing an outfit for the day
* Supporting residents to dine at mealtimes and maintain good nutrition and hydration
* Encouraging residents to mobilise safely with mobility aids and equipment
* Providing friendship and companionship, and accompanying residents on social outings or appointments
* Maintaining accurate and timely written records and completing documentation
* Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to promote residents’ health and well-being
* Welcoming family members and assisting with enquiries
What we’re looking for
You should have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a difference for our residents. Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable but not essential as full training is provided. A patient, understanding and respectful approach to residents is essential, and an understanding of dementia is beneficial.
