Are you an expert in Public Sector Tenders with a passion for technical precision? Tech Connect is supporting a market-leading specialist vehicle manufacturer looking for a detail-oriented Senior Bid & Tender Coordinator to join their expanding commercial team. This is a pivotal role where you will lead the end-to-end bid process, securing high-value contracts with UK Councils and shaping the future of our waste and recycling product portfolio. The Role As Senior Bid Coordinator, you will own the journey from initial tender notification to the final order confirmation. You will work closely with field-based Sales Managers and Technical teams to configure bespoke vehicle solutions that meet exact customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Bid Management: Manage multiple tender submissions simultaneously, ensuring every deadline is met with a high-quality response. Technical Writing: Craft compelling, bespoke responses to "Quality" and "Social Value" questions, utilising and evolving our existing bid library. Process Leadership: Manage one direct report and oversee the internal process flow from quotation through to order handover. Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical data into clear, persuasive proposals using our business configurator tools. About You You have an eye for detail & a skilled writer who takes pride in creating original content without using AI platforms. Essential Requirements: Proven experience in Public Sector Procurement (UK Frameworks and Portals). Exceptional Bid Writing skills (a written assessment will form part of the interview). Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Word. Experience managing end-to-end bid processes and contract documentation. A collaborative spirit and the ability to lead by example. Desirable Skills: Experience in vehicle manufacturing or the UK Waste & Recycling sector. Previous experience managing or supervising a team member. Knowledge of Social Value, Sustainability, and CSR reporting.
