The role Join Southern Housing as a Resident Involvement and CoCreation Lead You'll report to a Head of Service and take ownership of designing, leading, and managing projects that put residents at the centre. Working with residents, senior staff, and local politicians, you'll drive improvements based on community needs, using both data and collaboration. As our subject expert, you'll champion resident involvement across the organisation, develop innovative ways to ensure all voices are heard, and deliver our Resident Involvement Strategy locally. You'll be based at one of our main offices in either Farringdon, Sittingbourne, Midlands, Sussex with the option for working in a hybrid way when appropriate and as agreed with your manager What You'll Be Doing Champion, lead, and promote a culture of resident involvement, cocreation, and customer centricity. Design, lead, and deliver inclusive, outcome-focused cocreation projects. Lead and deliver the Resident Involvement Strategy Statement and plans locally. Facilitate involvement activities and workshops, ensuring diverse resident and colleague voices are heard and acted upon. Work with directorates to ensure improvements are delivered to residents as a result of your projects. Ensure a great service experience for residents and colleagues, achieving high satisfaction levels. Promote your work and produce engaging, accurate reports. Recruit, support, and guide residents, identifying training needs and enabling specialist training. Enable resident group formation and support them to become independent. Build consensus and manage relationships with residents, colleagues, Board, Senior Executive, and external partners (MPs, Councillors). Oversee project expenditure and assist the Head of Service with reporting. What You'll Need Excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills Strong influencing and negotiating abilities Expert knowledge of resident involvement regulation and legislation Problem-solving skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions Leadership and project management experience A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and delivering exceptional customer/Resident experiences A proven ability to deliver measurable impact Flexibility to travel and work out of hours when needed - some evening and weekend work will be required to engage residents effectively across our regions.
