Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be flexible in terms of kitchen operation, being able to assist with breakfast, brunch and all day dining menu.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef with food production and prep.
* Ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety guidelines and hygiene practices to ensure a safe working environment.
* Fostering a positive team environment while promoting culinary skills development.
* Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and report any issues promptly.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a CDP or Commis Chef ready for next step or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
* Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for culinary arts.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on teamwork.
Job Type: Part-time
