Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging Geography Teacher lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Prepare students effectively for GCSE Geography examinations, ensuring a strong understanding of key geographical concepts and skills.
* Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity about the world and its challenges.
* Assess and monitor student progress in geography, providing clear and constructive feedback as a Geography Teacher.
* Contribute to the delivery of the geography curriculum and the creation of engaging resources, including fieldwork opportunities.
* Encourage student participation in geographical investigations and discussions about global issues.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.
* Demonstrated experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
* A strong and comprehensive knowledge of geographical concepts, processes, and contemporary issues.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of making geography relevant and engaging as a Geography Teacher.
* Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities in their study of geography.
