Assistant Store Manager
Join the Timberland team as an Assistant Store Manager at our store in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth. Your role will support the Store Manager and help drive a memorable retail experience.
Responsibilities
* Driving sales and profitability in synergy with the Store Manager
* Motivating, mentoring, and coaching sales associates
* Assisting the Store Manager in implementing established retail processes and identifying improvement opportunities
* Managing core retail operational procedures such as inventory and P&L
* Reporting performance metrics and using KPI data to improve store results
* Ensuring the store appearance aligns with brand visual merchandising guidelines
* Providing cover when the Store Manager is absent

Qualifications & Experience
* Experience opening and closing a store and leading a team to maximize sales and productivity
* Excellent written and verbal communication in English (additional language is a plus)
* Proficiency in MS Office and various POS systems
* Flexible schedule, able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
