Tender, Contract and Pricing Senior Specialist is responsible for the provision of Tender and Pricing submissions to the UK and Ireland Health Providers and supporting/backfilling BNL Market in conjunction with the sales representatives, Regional Sales Managers, National Sales Manager. They will be responsible for the assigned regional areas respecting deadlines, local market and national requirements ensuring compliance with high quality tender submissions whilst creating and maintaining customer excellence. It should be noted that other markets may form part of your overall responsibility such as BNL and France. Major Accountabilities - Lead in delivery of tender excellent and contracts service to Public and Private Health providers in a timely manner - Deliver and manage on a tender plan/pipeline to ensure that internal stakeholders are aware role and responsibilities to deliver on time and high-quality responses - Partner with sales team to undertake pretender engagement and framework optimisation - Ensure submission of required Tenders and Pricing in line with requests and agreed with the sales team, the National Sales Manager to the agreed standard - Contract and Tender management of stakeholders, including, Procurement organisations not limited to NHSSC, NHS Scotland, NHS Wales, NHS Northern Ireland, HSE and other buying organisations including Private Hospital Groups at appropriate management level. Any other procurement partners sat outside the UKI market - Pro-active benchmarking of tender and contract submissions to ensure best-in-class approach - Monthly expired pricing/Modifier/Contracts review in line with agreed expectations and in partnership with EMEA Operations Manager - including updating internal systems - Collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure robust Tender submission of high quality - Ensure the EMEA Senior Tender and Contracts Manager is fully informed on the conditions of business and market through a regular reporting - Any other duties or projects as requested by the Line Manager including special projects out of region or country Key Performance Indicators Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for an associate in this role measuring progress and performance are aligned and set in accordance with: - Organizational Objectives and Goals - Departmental / Team Objectives and Goals - Individual Objectives identified during Performance Management Process - Support the reputation and culture of Integra, dependent on creativity, dedication and performance-orientation and focus on achievement through collaboration and innovation (local, regional and global level impact) - Impact on both internal and/or external associates, stakeholders and customers Languages: - Fluency in English (verbal and written) - Any other European language would be an asset preferably Dutch Experience: - Proven experience working within commercial functions, ideally Tender Management, Sales, Product Management and/or Marketing/Public Procurement - Experience working within the medical devices environment - Ability to demonstrate use of persuasion/influencing tactics to achieve business objectives - Thorough understanding of PCR 2015, EU Procurement Directives and understanding of Procurement Reform Act - Commercial awareness of the healthcare industry; knowledge and understanding of products, services and marketplace - including e-procurement portals - Proven experience in developing and establishing successful key relationships and delivering excellent standards of customer service - Proven project management skills which demonstrate flexibility/an ability to adjust to changing customer's needs Competencies: - Communication Skills (oral, written and listening ability): Effectively and efficiently conveys clear, complete and focused information; interacts with people at all levels of authority; tailors messages to audiences and listen to the views of others; effectively presents topics/information to individual and group audiences - Organizational Skills: Prioritizes tasks efficiently and productively, and manages time well - Problem Solving: Takes a logical and analytical approach to solving problems; generates workable solutions and resolves issues/challenging situations; able to analyze systems and data and suggest appropriate solutions - Self-Motivation: Self-starter able to work independently and proactively on own initiative - Teamwork: Team player, able to excel at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues; manages and delegates to others and takes on responsibility; builds positive working relationships to achieve positive goals and business objectives - Negotiation/Influencing Skills: Able to influence and persuade others to take appropriate action to achieve business objectives; discuss and reach mutually satisfactory agreements - Results Orientated: Demonstrates a high degree of results orientation; drive, enthusiasm and commitment towards achieving results / fulfilling objectives; ability to work under pressure / strict deadlines - Adaptability/Flexibility: Highly adaptable / flexible - ability to react and respond positively to changing conditions, priorities and workload; works independently or as part of a team to effectively manage, prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent tasks or projects - Customer Focused: Assigns the highest priority to customer satisfaction; establishes effective relationships with customers, gains trust and respect - Detail Oriented: Accurate with a high degree of detail orientation
