Job Description
* Be accountable for the commercial delivery of retail across the key KPI's; Sales, Margin and Funding. Ultimately delivery the forecasted profit.
* Proactively manage the product, pricing and promotional mix to optimize sales and profit.
* Develop and Implement best practice Commercial, Merchandising and Operational solutions.
* Develop and implement the strategy for the retail side of the business. Lead the direction of travel.
* Manage the relationships with our supplier base, negotiate JBPs, pricing and other support.
* Engage our store colleagues and area managers on the strategy and provide regular updates on performance
* Manage and update key stakeholders internally on any challenges and provide solutions.
* Proactive in seeking out feedback from Customers and Store Colleagues on ways to continually optimise our offering.
* Conduct regular market and competitor reviews to identify future opportunities
* Manage a small team in supporting the delivery of the agreed plans.
The Successful Applicant
A successful OTC Retail Manager should have:
* A degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field
* Previous experience in a retail management role
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Knowledge of the healthcare industry
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
