We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in South Tyneside that’s ready and waiting for a Food Technology teacher to step in ASAP. This is a minimum 6-week cover, with the potential to extend, and a timetable that keeps things varied and engaging.
You’ll be teaching GCSE Food Technology classes alongside some KS3 Art, perfect if you enjoy a mix of creativity and practical learning. Think hands-on lessons, engaged pupils, and a department that genuinely values what you bring.

Set in South Tyneside, this school is easy to reach whether you’re driving or using public transport. It’s just a short walk from a Metro station, with regular services across the Tyne and Wear Metro network, making commuting from Newcastle, Gateshead, and surrounding areas simple and reliable.
