The role is initially based on ad-hoc agency work, however, there is a very high chance that it could become a permanent role for the right candidate. About the Role Were currently recruiting for a Metal Fabrication Operative to join a well-established, family-run metal fabrication company based in Lostock. This position involves a range of hands-on and repetitive tasks, supporting the production and logistics teams. Typical duties will include: Operating basic fabrication machinery (e.g. bending brackets using a press-button machine) Manual handling of heavy fabricated steel components Loading and unloading vehicles for incoming and outgoing deliveries Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate: Excellent level of written and spoken English A reliable, consistent, and hard-working attitude An understanding of the physical nature of the work and ability to handle heavy materials Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
