Hours: Monday to Friday (41.5 hours per week)

Our Drivers do more than a driving job. You are the face of the business ensuring all goods are delivered in first class condition completing all necessary paperwork and leaving with a good impression of you and our business.
* Full UK driving licence
* High levels of health and safety standards
* Numerate and literate
* Ability to communicate with customers and co workers
* Ability to work under pressure
* Flexibility
* Diligent attention to detail
* Good knowledge of HGV driver rules and regulations
* Experience of multi-drop deliveries
* Current fork truck certificate (B1 counterbalance)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure that the load is correct against customer’s orders
* Check goods off with customer and ensure a signature and print
* Handle customers issues on delivery and contact Transport Office if required
* Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner
* Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law
* Look after the vehicle and ensure that it is not subjected to unnecessary damage
* Maintain the cleanliness of the cab
* Ensure accidents are kept to a minimum
* Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance to companies accident reporting procedures
* Complete vehicle daily inspection and report any defects to Manager
* Attend essential training to carry out the driving role
* To provide support in warehouse if required by the Transport Manager
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Physical Demands
* Loading and unloading of product from the vehicle
* Opening and closing of vehicle curtains/doors, Moving product by hand around warehouse
